WOODWARD 8200-226
The Woodward 8200-226 is a Servo Position Controller (SPC) designed to accurately position both proportional and integrating servo valves. It functions as a servo valve driver that can accept a position demand signal based on either DeviceNet or a 4 to 20 milliampere current loop. The controller can also process valve position feedback signals from up to two redundant Alternating Current (AC) devices or one Direct Current (DC) device. Configuration, calibration, and monitoring of the unit’s parameters are performed using a Windows-based software tool connected via a serial interface. The 8200-226 is the latest released model in the SPC series, replacing earlier models like 8200-224 and 8200-225. It is used to position hydraulic or pneumatic actuators based on the received position demand.
