Product Description
The GE 469 – P5 – HI – A20 – E is a high – performance motor management relay within GE Multilin’s 469 series. Engineered for industrial applications, it serves as a crucial component for monitoring, controlling, and safeguarding medium to large – sized motors.
This relay offers comprehensive motor protection features. It can detect and respond to various motor – related issues such as torque protection, over – temperature protection, stator differential protection, and under – voltage & over – voltage protection. When it senses abnormal conditions, it can quickly assess the severity and take appropriate actions, like tripping the system or enabling rapid motor restarts. This helps in reducing overall motor system downtime and enhancing the motor’s lifespan.
It comes with multiple RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) inputs, supporting 3 – wire RTDs made of 100 ω platinum, 100 ω nickel, 120 ω nickel, and 10 ω copper. This allows for accurate monitoring of the motor’s actual temperature and the hottest point within the motor system.
The 469 – P5 – HI – A20 – E also has metering functions, enabling users to track important system variables such as voltage, demand, and frequency. The data can be presented on its enhanced 40 – character LCD display or accessed through the Enervista 469 software program. Communication interfaces, including an RS232 port and RS485 ports, facilitate connection with a computer running the Enervista software.
