The GE IC698CPE040 is a high – performance central processing unit (CPU) controller module, specifically designed for the PACSystems RX7i series. It serves as the core of control systems in various industrial applications, enabling precise and efficient real – time control of machinery, processes, and material handling systems.
This module is equipped with a 1.8 GHz Pentium – M microprocessor, which provides powerful computing capabilities for executing complex control algorithms. With 64 MB of battery – backed user memory and 64 MB of non – volatile flash user memory, it ensures reliable storage and retention of programs and data, even in the event of power outages.
The IC698CPE040 features an industry – leading seven communication ports. It has built – in local expansion capabilities and Ethernet remote I/O ports as standard, which are crucial for seamless integration with other devices in the control system. The Ethernet ports support auto – sensing 10/100 Mbps half / full – duplex communication, enabling high – speed data transfer.
