GE IS200VCMIH2BEE

Product Description

The GE IS200VCMIH2BEE is a main communication controller board that is part of the Unit Data Highway (UDH) in GE’s Speedtronic Mark VI turbine control system5. It is designed for use in industrial gas and steam turbine control systems, commonly found in processing plants and power generation applications1. It plays a crucial role in controlling the speed during turbine startup, synchronizing generators, providing turbine load control, and preventing load loss and turbine overspeed1.
This board is a double – sided panel5. The front of the circuit board is more complex, featuring connector ports (including two backplanes), inductors/chokes, test points, and integrated circuits5. The attached front panel has three IONet ports and a male serial port5. It also has a reset button, two fixing screws, and four groups of LED indicators (one group of 3, one group of 6, one group of 8, and one group of 3)5. The board number and the company logo are marked on the panel5. The IS200VCMIH2BEE uses SIFT voting (software – implemented fault tolerance) and broadcasts data to all remote racks in one packet5. The VCMI boards at these remote locations extract the appropriate packet data5.
