Product Description

The MVME55006E – 0163R is a high – performance single – board computer designed for VMEbus systems2. It is part of the MVME5500 series and is suitable for applications in industrial automation, defense systems, scientific research, and other fields that require reliable embedded computing2. It uses the MPC7457 processor with a running frequency of 1 GHz, which is well – suited for data – intensive applications1. It offers not only better processor performance but also balanced performance among the processor, memory, dual – independent local buses, and I/O subsystems1. The powerful Marvell system controller, supporting a 133 – MHz host bus and a 133 – MHz SDRAM memory bus, matches the high – speed processor well1.
