NI PXIE-5105

Product Description
The NI PXIE – 5105 is a high – density PXI oscilloscope module, designed to meet the demands of various applications that require accurate and flexible signal acquisition and analysis. It is part of the PXI oscilloscope family from National Instruments, offering the advantages of the PXI platform such as modularity, high – speed data transfer, and synchronization capabilities.
This module is equipped with eight simultaneously – sampled channels, providing users with the ability to capture multiple signals at the same time. Each channel has flexible settings for coupling (AC or DC), impedance (selectable between 50 Ω or 1 MΩ), voltage range (ranging from 50 mVpp to 30 Vpp), and filtering, allowing for adaptation to different types of input signals.
The PXIE – 5105 features a number of triggering modes, which are essential for precisely capturing the desired signal events. These triggering modes enable the oscilloscope to start data acquisition at specific signal conditions, such as a rising or falling edge, a certain voltage level, or a complex pattern. Additionally, it has a deep onboard memory, which can store a large amount of acquired data. The available memory options are 16 MB, 128 MB, or 512 MB depending on the part number (783590 – 01 with 16 MB, 783590 – 02 with 128 MB, and 783590 – 03 with 512 MB), ensuring sufficient data storage for long – term signal monitoring or complex waveform analysis.
It also comes with an instrument driver that includes data streaming and analysis functions. This driver software API allows for seamless integration with various software packages and application development environments (ADEs) like LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, Measurement Studio, Microsoft Visual C/C++, and
