The NI PXIE – 5105 is a high – performance oscilloscope module designed for the PXI Express (PXIe) platform. It is an ideal choice for applications that demand accurate and flexible signal acquisition and analysis.
This module features eight simultaneously – sampled channels, enabling the capture of multiple signals concurrently. Each channel offers versatile settings for coupling (either AC or DC), impedance (selectable between 50 Ω or 1 MΩ), and voltage range (ranging from 50 mVpp to 30 Vpp). These settings allow for seamless adaptation to different input signals, whether they are from small – scale sensor outputs or high – voltage industrial signals.

 

The PXIE – 5105 comes equipped with a range of advanced triggering modes. These triggering capabilities are essential for precisely capturing the desired signal events. Users can set triggers based on rising or falling edges, specific voltage levels, or complex patterns, ensuring that the oscilloscope starts data acquisition exactly when the relevant signal conditions are met.

 

With a deep onboard memory, the module can store a substantial amount of acquired data. The available memory options include 16 MB, 128 MB, or 512 MB depending on the part number (783590 – 01 with 16 MB, 783590 – 02 with 128 MB, and 783590 – 03 with 512 MB). This deep memory is crucial for long – term signal monitoring and complex waveform analysis, as it enables the storage of extended signal segments for detailed post – processing.
