GE IS420PUAAH1A
Product Description
The GE IS420PUAAH1A is a crucial component within GE’s Mark VIe control system, meticulously designed for industrial automation and process control applications. This module serves as a reliable interface for various sensors and actuators, facilitating seamless data transfer between the field devices and the overall control system.
It offers a wide range of input and output capabilities, allowing it to handle multiple signal types. With 16 analog simplex channels, users can connect different types of sensors such as thermocouples, RTDs (Resistance Temperature Detectors), 4 – 20 mA current inputs with HART option, 5 V or 10 V inputs. For output, it supports 0 – 20 mA current output with HART option, along with digital inputs and outputs and pulse accumulators. Each channel can be independently configured, providing great flexibility to meet diverse application requirements. This feature enables channel – by – channel commissioning, which in turn allows for more efficient system setup and maintenance.
The module is compatible with ControlST V 7.02.00C or later versions, ensuring it can take advantage of the latest software features and improvements. It also has a frame rate of 10 ms, which is relatively fast for data processing and communication within the control system. Additionally, it supports auto – reconfiguration, and the unit can be hot – swapped for replacement, minimizing system downtime during maintenance or upgrade operations.
Product Parameters
- Input Signal Types: Thermocouple, RTD, 4 – 20 mA current input with HART option, 5 V or 10 V input.
- Output Signal Types: 0 – 20 mA current output with HART option, digital inputs and outputs, pulse accumulators.
