The WOODWARD 8200 – 1302 is a sophisticated digital governor turbine control module. It is engineered to precisely manage and optimize the performance of turbines across diverse industrial applications, such as power generation, oil and gas production, and marine propulsion.
This module comes with an integrated graphical front panel, serving as a user – friendly Human – Machine Interface (HMI). The large 8.4 – inch LCD screen on the HMI enables operators to easily monitor and control turbine operations. It offers convenient navigation and clear visualization of various operational parameters, facilitating efficient decision – making.
The 8200 – 1302 is equipped with intelligent and adaptive control algorithms. These advanced algorithms contribute to several key functions. It showcases next – generation load rejection performance, allowing the turbine to effectively respond to sudden load changes. It also features three critical speed avoidance bands, ensuring the turbine operates smoothly without reaching critical speeds that could cause mechanical issues. Additionally, it has reverse rotation sensing and alarm capabilities, enhancing operational safety.
