The Triconex 3101 is a Main Processor (MP) module designed for use in EcoStruxure Triconex Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS). As the central processing unit of the Triconex system, it is a critical component responsible for executing control logic, managing communications, and performing system diagnostics. The 3101 operates within a Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) architecture, requiring three such modules for fault-tolerant operation, ensuring continuous and safe control of critical industrial processes.
